True happiness can only be obtained by accepting that we are mediocre and that all our achievements will be an amorphous mass of nihilistic understatement. This website supports the underpinning principles of Positive Mediocrity: the server is slow and archaic; the available bandwidth is highly contended and based on unreliable technology. To compound all this mediocrity, the pages are built dynamically introducing an inevitable and uncomfortable lag into the proceedings
Objectives
This page is a portal to a number of other sites developed at The House of Gonad. Our aim is to experience the latest developments in web design and therefore we will produce standards based sites that are accessible with all browsers. The data is collected in a searchable SQL database and is also sent to Weather Underground which displays information from local weather stations all over the world. Weather information has been collected at The House of Gonad since 2001.
